Les Arcs 1800

The largest village of Les Arcs is Arcs 1800, it is made up of three sections: Charvet which has a pedestrianised shopping arcade, Villards with two shopping areas and Charmettoger, wood clad buildings nestling among the trees.

Ski & Snowboard Access:

Charmettoger is just a few minutes away from the centre of Arcs 1800 and approx 300m from the ski lifts, there are a couple of blue runs which bring you back into the village. The spacious and sunny beginner slopes are easily accessible from the village and provide a safe area in which to be taught by the ski school.

For the leisurely skier, there are plenty of long cruisy blue runs to choose from. Within the vast ski area, more confident skiers will find challenging reds and blacks as well as excellent off piste to explore. Les Arcs 1800 provides plenty of steep descents and hard black runs to conquer. There is a huge area waiting to be explored and hard core skiers will enjoy it immensely.

Often described as the ‘home of snowboarding’ Les Arcs is an excellent choice for those wanting to try boarding for the first time. For the more advanced, surf parks, off piste and a huge scope of pisted runs makes the resort a popular choice for both locals at weekends and British clients.
